Carnival Glass Ephemera
It is important to recognise the massive contribution made by the early Pioneers of Carnival Glass collecting. They in effect started with a blank canvas and slowly, painstakingly they researched the Carnival Glass makers and the many hundreds of patterns, shapes, and colours that form the framework we use today. It was an enormous task and we recognise the massive contribution made by early Pioneers like Marion Hartung and Rose Presznick in our "Blast from the Past" feature.
We have an enormous amount of paper ephemera, some of which was sent to us by Ray Steele, and for which we are really grateful. The ephemera shows how the work of the Pioneers was developed and enhanced by very active collectors and researchers.
We are gradually digitising this ephemera so that it can be published online to a wider audience of collectors and Carnival Glass Worldwide enthusiasts - we hope you enjoy!
