Rose Presznick Heirloom Collection - Cooper Auction, October 1977

Floyd E Cooper, the Auctioneer for Cooper Galleries wrote in 1977: "Rose Presznick needs no introduction to Carnival Glass collectors, her contributions to Carnival Glass are immeasurable. Her genuine love and compassion for the glass and her thousands of "Carnival Friends" through the last 50 years have made her truly the "Queen of Carnival". Thousands have enjoyed the the warm friendship and hospitality of Rose and Joe at their home and shop in Lodi, Ohio and have seen this spectacular collection on display."

"The many extremely rare pieces, the outstanding colors, the pieces given to Rose by her Grandmother that started her on a life dedicated to unravelling the mysteries of this beautiful glass. The pieces taken with her on her many lectures, the pieces used for illustrations in her many fine books on Carnival Glass, the prize winning displays, admired and wanted by many, but never for sale."

"In Rose's own words: the time has come to let the glass go to the many people who love it."
