Marigold

Made in the 1950s by VEB Sachsenglas (the follower to August Walther & Sons) this marigold vase was called Mailand in the catalogue. 

To date, only reported in marigold.

August Walther and Sons, was contemporary with Brockwitz. In fact they were located not far away from Brockwitz in Ottendorf-Okrilla near Dresden in Germany. Walther merged with another company in 1932 and became Saschsische Glasfabrik August Walther and Sohne. After WW2 the company was nationalised and became VEB Saschenglas.
