Collectors Facts - Ringed Base style Water Sets, made in India
Tumblers and pitchers are known with a distinctive (stacked) ringed base. As well as having this characteristic base, the glass also has frosting (acid etching that looks white) and designs depicted in rich marigold iridescence.
They were almost certainly made in India in that they have the appearance and characteristics of other iridised and frosted pieces that have been attributed to makers in India.
Examples are still emerging, so this will be a work in progress. These are the patterns that we know of so far.
