In 2005, thanks to Siegmar Gieselberger and Herr Neumann, some Markhbeinn catalogues surfaced. Markhbeinn was a glass wholesaler and distributer, not a glass maker. In the Markhbeinn (Inwald) pages there was an illustration that solved the mystery of who made this splendid Provence pattern. We had always suspected it was Czech - and now we know it was Josef Inwald.

Provence was called "Rivoli" in the catalogue. The tumbler (originally thought to be a different pattern) has also been called Bars & Cross Box.

In these Markhbeinn catalogues there was also a range of shapes in the known Inwald patterns such as Jacobean, Nola and Double Diamond, and also the definite proof that Inwald also made Drapery Variant, clearing up yet another mystery.
