Imperial Revival Carnival Glass Catalogue, probably late 1960s.
G&S Thistlewood June 2024
Imperial's Carnival Revival which first appeared in Imperial’s Catalog 62, issued in 1962, teased us by showing only two Revival Carnival pieces in the entire catalogue. A few years later in c. 1968-1969, Imperial issued a 4-page pamphlet, widening tremendously their range of Revival Carnival items. At what was probably around the same time (due to the similarity of the styles, the patterns/shapes and the colours - "Rubigold" and "Peacock") - they issued these two pages with a wide range of patterns and shapes.
