Imperial Revival Carnival Glass Pamphlet, c. 1968-69.

The Carnival Revival was spearheaded by Imperial. Imperial’s Catalog 62  which was issued in 1962, teased us by showing two Revival Carnival pieces in the entire catalogue. They were Imperial Grape goblets, and Imperial called the colours “Rubigold” and “Peacock Blue” (which collectors now call marigold and smoke). A few years later in c. 1968-1969, as Imperial had realised the “new” Carnival was very popular, they issued this 4-page pamphlet, widening tremendously their range of Revival Carnival items to over 70 different items. “Peacock Blue” has been shortened to simply “Peacock”.
