Aurora Jewels: Contemporary Imperial Carnival Glass


This is a wonderful four page catalogue of Imperial's Contemporary Carnival Glass in their beautiful "Aurora Jewels" (cobalt blue) line.

As the catalogue says, it was "beautifully handcrafted ... created in the olden manner." The Aurora Jewels line was introduced in mid 1970 and was made through to mid 1972.

* The 3-Swan vase was originally a Duncan & Miller mould - it was their "Swan Vase (No. 3)", as shown in this 1934 ad. Like many glass companies, Imperial acquired mould from other factories.

Duncan & Miller did not make this piece in Carnival Glass.
